Walking Workshop with Andrea

Ready to get moving this Fall?!

Walking is one of the best things you can do for your body.
It’s functional and supports our mental health, it brings us outside into our communities and it’s free!!

Join Andrea Michaluk Saturday, October 19th from 1-3pm, for a playful look at how we move about this earth!

Our body is constantly receiving and adapting to various loads and forces throughout a lifetime and this can absolutely influence how we walk.

We’ll explore how our stiff and underused hips and feet can contribute to unstable and unsustainable gait patterns. Discover how walking can contribute to a healthy pelvic floor and a more supple and strong upper body too.

We’ll also dive into the nitty gritty of traditional foot wear and how it’s ‘shaping’ our feet, and not in a good way. We’ll address any walking challenges you may have, along with plenty of time to rest.

Discover your individual way of moving from place to place and how to make simple changes to your movement habits to get the most out of walking!

Ready?! Let’s go!

Saturday October 19th
1 – 3pm
