Registered Massage Therapy, Registered Yoga Teacher, Founder
Rebecca Wasilewski is a Registered Massage Therapist, Certified Yoga Teacher, published author, and the founder of OM. After completing her studies at McMaster University, Rebecca went on to graduate with honours from Mohawk College’s Advanced Diploma Program in Massage Therapy. Rebecca has many memories of growing up playing at the Driving Park, looking in beautiful store windows and going for tea and scones with her Nana at Taylor’s, so opening the first OM location in Dundas felt a lot like going home.
With a passion for helping individuals of all ages, from newborns to seniors, Rebecca is dedicated to supporting her clients in achieving optimal well-being at every stage of life. She has had the privilege of working closely with individuals in palliative care, offering compassionate support and comfort during some of life’s most vulnerable and meaningful moments.
Rebecca specializes in treating the dynamic changes associated with pregnancy and postpartum recovery, and she is especially fond of working with children. Her advanced training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage through the International Dr. Vodder School, along with specialized education in perinatal care and infant massage from the Perinatal Massage Therapy Education School, enables her to provide comprehensive, tailored treatments for her clients.
Having grown up immersed in the Taoist Tai Chi Society, Rebecca developed a deep connection between movement and healing, which continues to influence her practice. She is committed to educating her community on the powerful connection between the mind and body, and her teaching extends from infancy through to palliative care.
Rebecca is honoured to serve her communities and looks forward to supporting individuals in achieving their therapeutic goals.
Please note, Rebecca is currently not accepting new clients at this time.
